Other Events Sponsored by TPS Mississippi:
Dr. Binford arranged a guest speaker for EDE 4143. Mrs. Suzanne Kelly (author and retired teacher emeritus from Iowa) presented about how she used a primary source account of an historical event in the Pacific Theater in WW2 to teach research skills in the elementary ELA and Social Studies classroom to teacher candidates in EDE 4143 Teaching Social Studies in the Elementary and Middle School. The resulting research project received national acclaim. The research project lasted for nine years in her elementary classroom.
